Meditation Guru Goodbye Guru Hello You!

Marcia Kilgore, a former Outlook, Saskatchewan girl, now touted as the Entrepreneur’s Entrepreneur says this about tackling problems early:

“If you have an issue with a product and you manufacture it anyway, the problem will only become bigger. You may think that it’ll be easier to just launch it, but remember you have to sell that product and if you know there’s something wrong or slightly off, so does everybody else. If you don’t have 100 percent confidence in your product, it’s better to miss a deadline than to own 20,000 of something that isn’t quite right."

I begin today's eMag issue with her quote because in all honesty, the same applies to all relationships – including the primary one with yourself!  If you go back and reread the paragraph but substitute the word "product" with "service" or "relationship" or "yourself", it fits, doesn't it?

Another good friend of mine, Lynn at http://www.lynnwertheimer.com   offers another perspective taken from “A Book of Miracles” edited by Susan Hull Bostwick.

This story grabbed my heart and mind. Written by Rev. Donna Greer, the idea that we move forward on what may not be the best for us has everything to do with not moving forward UNTIL it feels right for us.

So now, here is a story from a "Book of Miracles" from a section called First Hellos.

Goodbye Guru

"For ten years I was with a guru. For ten years I also suffered from headaches, dizziness and nausea. I went to many doctors for this but they could find no explanation for it and summed it up as 'stress'.

Eventually I found myself at the Berkeley Psychic Institute and one evening, Lewis gathered all the Clairvoyant students together after class and gave me a healing.

'Do you know what your problem is?' he asked.

'No,' I said, my attention fixed on his quizzical smile.

'You're an out-of-control trance medium!' he said, 'Like most of these people here.'

There were about twenty students sitting around all with their eyes closed and yawning, and at this they all laughed.

I was none the wiser and my head hurt, so I didn't laugh. But I felt safe.

'Have you been studying with a spiritual teacher, a guru?' Lewis asked me kindly.

'Yes'

'He has a big, fat cord right into your crown chakra. Would you like me to remove it for you?'

'Yes, please.' Lewis made some movements around my head with his hands. Suddenly I felt a great rush of energy through my whole body and for a minute I thought I was going to pass out, it was so strong.

'Can you feel that energy coming back to you?' Lewis asked.

'That guru was taking your energy.' He continued working with his hands. 'You've been around those street drugs, haven't you?' he said. 'I'm going to repair some parts of your brain where those drugs have destroyed connections.'

As he worked I felt the inside of my head expand and clear out. A wonderful happy feeling came over me.

'That's your own energy!' said Lewis. I glanced cautiously around the room and some of the students had opened their eyes and were looking at me with interest.

'She looks a bit different, doesn't she,' chuckled Lewis. More students opened their eyes and I felt like they were seeing me, not just my body.

'She's in her body now,' said Lewis.

I began to cry. For the first time in my twenty-eight years, someone was saying hello to me.

From that night on, I've had no more of the pain, dizziness or nausea."

I hope the examples above help in some way – sometimes the most insignificant story makes a difference.  Another reason for you to truly listen to which story you tell yourself (or what others tell you!)

This story also reflects how I work with energy and help people just like you to recognize what may be part of the 93% of energetic weight that isn't even yours!

Have a wonderful week, enjoy yourself and great job!
