The Learning Mindset

Is your mindset on board about the current state in the evolution of mass consciousness – you know… that spiritual pocket from which we are born, shaping our current lives and into which we will pass back into?
Wild Mind The Learning Mindset

How about that we are comprised of all energy?

If I've lost you already, be patient, it gets easier and more interesting.

If you have a learning mindset and see yourself as open, successful and willing to learn regardless of the obstacles, then keep on reading. And if you want a new experience, also keep on reading.

"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve." - Napolean Hill, Think and Grow Rich.

People are familiar with Hill. He makes a great point.

However, your mind generates a charge and that charge affects you and those around you every time you think.

So Hill's phrase also refers to achieving failures just as readily as successes. It still boils down to what you believe – perceive!

The charge I'm referring to is energy.

It's also includes your feelings, which by the way are just as powerful a glue that attracts more of the same to you.

As humans, we are energetic beings. Energy vibrates inside and outside of our bodies. That's how we create our lives. We vibrate them into our immediate environments. We are charged and electrical.

Have you ever experienced or seen a science fair process where touching a ball that had electrical currents manufactured, gets your hair standing on end?

Or simply rub a balloon on your hair and see how it sticks to a wall?

That's electrical charge. And that's the energy we're talking about here.

Your thoughts are just like that charge. And if you are rubbed the wrong way, you stick to a wall of limitation and grief.

I think you know what I'm saying here.

Your journey is to challenge yourself right now to re-program your thinking. I want you to understand and acknowledge that you are energy. You are a mass of vibrating bits and pieces.

For example, I have been sharing that our 7 year young Jeep Cherokee has been failing. Stops dead cold and no one can figure this out – yet.

About the same time, I decided to hire a coach to help me expand my business.

The cost of the vehicle (in my perception) takes financial priority, so guess what?  Yup, I postponed the coaching because of the added expense. Just so you'd know, so far it's cost us $3500!  Unreal!

So I looked at this very closely.

This is where you have to be open to the possibilities of internal energy and how it attracts and repels.

Growing up I learned quickly that anything I wanted was a financial burden to my parents. Over the years I learned to go without. I perceived a few things from my upbringing.

One, money was like a see-saw and was always in their favour. I decided that meant I didn't get what I wanted so became literally content to reduce my expectations and desires.  If I began to spend money for something for me, always – and I mean always – something tangible showed up in my life to take precedence before me!

That pattern was always there, but it didn't bother so much up to the time I decided to become an entrepreneur.

I then had to release (erase) that perception so less unexpected leaky holes showed up to eat my money and I could still get what I wanted.

I still had some clearing to do!

Does that make sense?

I would like you to challenge yourself right now to re-program how you see your current situation.

Your hesitations, fears, anger, confusion or frustrations are built on blocks from your past. How you feel about your past experiences can and does influence you today unless you decide at this moment to change how you see yourself.

I saw myself as having to surrender my desires to others first.

Another example, I used to feel bitter about my babysitting experience. (story from previous blog post) I couldn't let it go for a very long time. So over the years, in various work situations, I had that deep sense in the pit of my stomach that I might not get paid if I thought for an instant I wouldn't please others around me.

I quit every job about the time that the old belief took on momentum and I convinced myself "they" will find something wrong with me. "They'll" figure out that if things get broke, it's my fault. "They" will want the raises and I would have to go without – again!

What I didn't understand was I was always doing great work … it was the little girl's experienced perception that gained momentum until I felt rotten enough to quit. It was so bad for years that even if someone looked at me sideways, I was spooked.

So your challenge today is to refuse to let old stories ruin your current experience.

You'll become far more effective with this small shift in thinking.

Let them go. How?

Ask yourself," How much resistance are you in this very moment to learning more about yourself?"

Place your hand on your heart, and ask, "How much am (I) vested in staying the same because (I) want to be right about how life works in (my) world?"

Then ask yourself, "How much am (I) vested in making my parents right (even if what they wanted for (me) wasn't what (I) wanted)?"

We take on more than 97% of energy from others.  Only 3% is ours!!!

Then listen to what your heart is showing you, either by feelings or pictures or some message that has relevance for you.

Again, if it seems difficult to make a change, stop and ask yourself, "How much of this is mine? How much is theirs?"

If your resistance justifies staying stuck, you might also want to ask yourself, "How much of (me) is pushing or fighting against changing to get more peace of mind?"

Next, imagine a gauge with a dial in front of you.
Dial down stress The Learning Mindset
Ask that gauge how much resistance you have to any or all of the things in your life that stress you? That gauge controls mindset.

Reach out and turn the dial down a bit. You will feel better even it it's just a small notch.  That's it; dial it down until you can feel yourself freeing resistance to learning more.

Now you're using the most powerful tool to get what you want – your imagination!

Remember to use this tool whenever you feel resistance about anything.

Next week I'll share another tool which gives you even more sense of healing, peace, freedom, safety and accomplishment. So stayed tuned! And don't forget to leave your comments here.

Until then,

Have a wonderful day and great job today!

Love the Napoleon Hill quote, it's always been one of my favorites, and love this article Patricia.  I too am a big believer in energy and our ability to determine our future by paying close attention to our energy and that of those we allow into our space.  I still have to remind myself to re-program how I think about my situations sometimes. That feels like a life-long process to me!

This is so true about the old stories that keep as stuck, it take a lot of work to break through and you as a coach are doing amazing work to do it. Thanks for incredible tips you share Patricia and I am also excited about your partnership with SWAT institute. :)

Our minds are so much more powerful than we can imagine!  I see the power of thought particularly with my children. They have really tapped into understanding and using the power of their thinking to achieve their goals.
Great post!
