A Little Insight into Patricia
The day just before my father died, changed my life!
He said to me, “Patricia, I’m not here for very much longer.”
I said, “I know.”
He was dying of cancer and feebly he asked me to take care of mom when he was gone. I didn’t say anything to him, just nodded OK. However, I did think to myself, who’s going to take care of me?
As if he heard my very words, he then whispered, “You can take care of yourself. You’re strong and smart.”
That was over 10 years ago and if I’m being totally honest with you that was a lie I bought into. My life became chaotic and filled with anger and resentment that I “had” to add yet another unexpected responsibility into my already full mix of personal and professional activity.
It took me almost a decade to figure out that I was supposed to be the first item on my list – not the last! Here’s how you benefit working with me:
